Vessel Images
The Lady Jacqueline is a 65ft Mono Hull Cruiser, she is equipment with two Volvo Penta Turbo Inboard engines which can push her happily along at 10 Knots if needed. There is an onboard semi silent Generator that runs the large 4 air conditioner units. The lady J is fully equipped with roof solar panels and a large 3kva Victron Inverter which allows us to run the Fans, Fridges, Lights and Charging Stations all Night with no need to run the Generator. Due to her unique style of hull you will have a very comfortable experience
Dining Areas
Food is a very important part of any Houseboat trip. We love alfresco dining and have built this into the Lady Jacqueline. You are able to choose to eat either on the third deck at the Dining table or on the second deck in our Breakfast Bar. The Dining area on the third deck also doubles as a slumber sleeping area if you wish. Our team are happy to move the mattresses upstairs for a night out in the open fresh air. There are no dividing walls so we recommend this for the very closest of family and friends. This after all is what a Kariba Holiday is all about.
Cabins
There are four Cabins on the lady Jacqueline. There is one in the forward section, which is a double with a bathroom ensuite and equipment with air conditioning. At the aft section there is another double room with ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning. Mid ship there are two Pulman style Cabin Bunks, one sleeping two and the other sleeping four. Both Cabins share a central wet room style bathroom. There is an air conditioner that supplies both rooms if the doors are left slightly open.
Jacuzzi
In the forward section there is a six seater Jacuzzi for those much needed cool downs. For the adults why not send for a bottle of Champagne and spend a few hours in luxury. Our team are more than happy to catch a few fish for the kids and let them swim together in the pool. It makes for hours of good fun. Poolside towels are available on request.
Tender Boats
The Lady Jacqueline has two tenders boats for your exclusive use. The one is a skimmer with a raft style deck, a quite 40hp 4 stroke Yamaha engine making it ideal for fishing, game viewing or lunch out on the lake. The skimmer can seat 8 pax very comfortably. The other vessel is a Falcon with an 80hp Mercury which carries 8 comfortably. The Tender boats are towed behind Lady J making them always accessible when needed.
The Crew
Lady Jacqueline has a crew of 3, a Chef, Captain and a Deckhand. Pop over to our crew section to meet the team prior to your arrival. Our team love welcoming our guests and clients are often in tears when leaving.
